Great issue! I loved The Last Quiet Thing; I 100% agree with that essay. I am so tired of apps and electronics that need a subscription or internet connection being pushed on me. Those things have their place in some people's lives and in some cases can be a huge help with activities of daily living. But there is still a market for those of us who don't want or need all of that. It's not all or nothing.

I know right! It has a reached a point where even a car needs a subscription for certain features to work. :(
